Hundreds of students and parents walked from the O’Connell Center to Weimer Hall for refreshments and to meet faculty members. An aerial view helped me find a couple of students so I could meet their parents.

← View from my seat on the back row The speeches were made by Alumni of Distinction — each sharing how starting as a student at UF had helped lead to career success and then offering some brief advice.  Hope the students were listening: Maintain your professional and personal integrity. Be willing to take some risks. Know that friendships made at UF may last a lifetime. Use your career to make a contribution to others.
