Ready for graduation

The event: Graduation for the College of Journalism and Communications

I was a marshal at the back of the line for the journalism grads. This was my view when I stepped into the auditorium about 20 minutes before the processional started. The students would process from the other end of the floor, coming down the center aisle and then filling in the chairs.

The cameras were getting ready to project onto the big screen the events on the stage. The teleprompters were ready. The backdrop and cameras were ready for the professional photographers to take a photo of each student before that special moment of walking up the stairs (on left of photo) and then walking across the stage.
