Joining forces to oppose higher ed budget cuts Faculty, graduate students and undergraduates rallied on the UF campus yesterday at noon to protest the proposed budget cuts to higher education — especially at UF. Some speeches. Petitions to sign. A phone for calling legislators in Tallahassee. A good idea for raising awareness of the planned cuts. As one speaker said, the rally was important, but we all need to be contacting our state legislators to express our concerns. You can find your senator or find your representative. Then e-mail or call.
