No land line
I asked the students in my 6th-period lecture course how many do not have a land line. Almost none of them do. This supports what I heard on an advisory council panel yesterday that 1 in 3 adults under the age of 30 don’t have a land line. That can affect the results of political polls that are based on telephone surveys — that are based on land line phone numbers.
But I certainly don’t want to surveyers to find my cell phone number.
