A panel of media professionals discussed the job market and offered advice.

Yes, jobs are available but very competitive.

Factors for success in obtaining a media job:

  • Internships – Even if volunteer
  • Passion about the work
  • Multimedia experience – Tomorrow is the College’s Job & Internship Fair. The recruiter from The Sun-Sentinel discarded any resume that did not include multimedia experience.
