I’m back online after several weeks of very minimal online activity. I’ve been out of town — most often in locations that have had limited or no Internet. Even in some potentially connected locations, I decided not to check e-mail or post to my blog. At least a month with no television.

So my time was real time — conversations in person or by phone. Activities have included hiking, photography and playing board games. A good reminder that we can have lots of activity without needing a computer — and can be much more energy efficient.
